Well not quite yet but I fired up the video editor under a new set of tools and finally hashed together our Lake Berryessa trip video from 9-5-2010. This is a follow-up to the movie trailer I put together a few months back so instead of the 45 second trailer you get 5 minutes of adventure with some camera chaos during a triple and a few unique underwater shots never before seen like the "Dodger Knock" and the "Reverse Strike". I have a few more trips from September after this that have some pretty impressive underwater schools I hope to share as well. Crank up the video setting to 720p HD if your connection is fast enough. On with the show... no popcorn required.

Kevin,

Another great video, and a great way to get pumped up for the season. If the water wasn't so stained it might have started by now. On or not I'll be watching the weather for Sat. cuz I'm itchn to get out there. Good luck to you and everyone out there this season.

Thanks for all the comments....

You are right... it was two Kokes and a King. I cut out about 3 minutes of the camera spinning in the double and then triple as it takes a while to bring in the fish. I wanted to preserve the camera spinning though as it was literally on somebody's wrist in between scrambling nets / rods & reels. It was really the boat highlight for the year with the kids. Looking forward for Berryessa to start kicking in and I'm sure we'll see ya out there.

Good catch and that fish wil be famous for Pardee. Maybe.... just maybe Pardee will turn around a bit and have some decent size fish in the 14-16 inch class on a regular basis. Makes me want to head to Pardee now. :-)

Kevin your videos are like the NBA, fantastic! I always end up watching them several times.

The reverse strike is a very aggressive strike. I think that happens a lot at Wickiup. Often with those strikes the line simply releases from the clip without any rod bounce or other indications of a strike. The fish is then air borne before there is time to reach the rod.

Thanks for sharing.

Get out there JT... we need some scouts. Berryessa has risen 5 more feet in seven days so now we need things to settle down.
