Bear Lake January 2, 2011

Spent the day on the Bear, absolutely had a great time visiting with my co-fisherman. What an amazing lake to see when the steam is coming off. And what lovely weather to boot! It got up to a balmy 13 degrees at the warmest time of the day.

Here's a few pics of the lovely scenery for those who love that lake as much as I do!

I would however, at this point, kill for ANY luck on that lake...tried everything from Rapapals to cut bait, flatfish to devils, spoons and swimbaits in all water columns....and nothing. Anyone has ANY suggestions I'm all ears (now that I can feel them!)

Thought you guys might enjoy the fish that we did come across however...check out the few fish we found on the finder!

I think those returns you're seeing on the finder are ICEBERGS clear to the bottom! Soon that lake will be frozen solid. 101chillpill101

Manged to get out on the lake again yesterday. It's been pretty steady over the last few weeks. Sadly, haven't been able to take the kids out yet due to weather but hopefully that will change soon. My son however was thrilled to pack "his" fish around for close to 30 minutes. He set up all his stuffed animals and proceeded to show them his prize.

Now...every time I head out the door he's grabbing me asking if I will bring home more fishes. He too is sadly addicted.

Well no, that's not really 'some' kind, it's a flat out request!! :)

OF COURSE!! IT's a standing invite!

Only have about 2.5-3.5 weeks left before it dies down until the fall; lemme know. Lunch and trollling' juice on me!
