I fished Lake Cavenaugh today. I got a late start as my alarm( my dogs) didn't go off. Left the house at 9:30 for the drive. Got to the lake at 11:00. Only three boats on the lake. Action was slow but steady. I caught 5 koks ( 10 to 11.5 inches) in 1.5 hrs and loaded up for the drive home. Left as a mod. heavy shower started.
No color on the fish yet. No schools that I could find. Fished with a herring dodger ( chrome) folowed by a pink wedding ring w/ corn. The other rig I used was an ultra-lite gang troll with a dark red and chrome wedding ring with corn. only hooked 6 fish , but only lost one. Down Riggers at 20 and 28 feet, 1.2 mph
One other boat came in with 2 limits of cuts & koks.
