A lot of moaning on the radio today from the other boaters. Many were at 1 fish by noon when we were netting #10. It didn't matter how long they were, they were all fat, fat, fat. 38' deep was my magic depth today. If I fished in the 17' - 20' depth, it was rainbow city. Our biggest fish was an 18" er with multiple in the 17" range.
The 18" er.

The lures that caught them: My own stuff behind a RMT dodger.

Great job Dave... looks like the custom spinners did the trick. How long a setback were you using on your spinners from the dodgers? Good to hear there are some fish in there since after our recent trip we were all beginning to wonder.

About 9" leaders Kevin. We had 2 fish break leaders today in the middle of the line. They happened back to back about mid morning and had me throwing a fit as I knew each fish was a gift today. We ended the day with 17 hook ups, the farmed 7 were 4 rainbows, the 2 break offs and one dink release. The rest looked a lot like this as I was shrink wrapping them.

Great report Dave, thanks for sharing!! Those are some nice size kokes. Interesting on that leader length...do you normally use that length for your spinners or were you experimenting on this trip?

WTG Dave. Be sure not to forget your spinners when you hit the Gorge. Those colors are going to do the trick. 101goodpost101
