Does anyone launch the boat, fish, and camp on the boat for a few days?

Specifically Detroit, GP, Odell, Wickiup, Paulina, LBC, or Simtustus.

I'm not familiar with any of these places enough to know if it can be done, if there is adequate and safe parking, if there are places to anchor, or beaches to nose up on, places that are out of the wind, or anything else. Any info is appreciated.

I've never tried it but if I wanted to know more about it I would try to contact a lodge on or near one of these lakes and ask them. I will use Shelter Cove as an example for Odell only because it is the only lodge that I am somewhat familiar with. You can find their number here on the internet if you want to look it up.

GP, you can boat in and wild camp.
Odell, there is one remote boat in campground, not many other places to wild camp at odell, either the highway, train tracks, or your in front of the cabins...or steep cliffs.

I've never seen anyone boat camp overnight at Paulina...most people stay in the camp grounds. If you want some seclusion there's a primitive hike or boat in spot on the north shore.
