This months STS Magazine has an interesting article (pg 58) about fishing for kokes up in Lake Sutherland in Washington State. If anyone else has this issue can you identify what's attached to the back of some of the Apex's in the picture of the author's (Bill Herzog) favorite kokanee lures? It looks to be some sort of miniature tinsel skirt of some kind. Anybody ever seen these before and know where to get them?

Gary, I'm sheltered and illiterate, what does STS stand for?

Looks like crystal flash or flashbou to me.

Picks up light like crazy and I use it on my flies all the time.

Thanks again David for the first hand information. thumbsup I've only used that Apex once since I rigged it up and had very good sucess with it. I'm going to order some more supplies and tie up more like it when cabin fever sets in this winter.
