Would like to say hi to all the members on the site. Hopefully I can pick up some techniques to help the wife and I catch some kokanee this summer at the Gorge.

There is a lot of fishing experts on this forum with some good information. Welcome and good luck with the fishing.

I was wondering if you were going to have a get together this summer at the Gorge like you did last summer for KFF members, the wife and I would like to attend.

I was cohearsed into making a reservation for that weekend's get together by another KFF member but as of yet hadn't seen any info on it. As far as catching Kokanee my techniques are outdated according to certain circles. I have only been on that lake twice in the last 10 to 12 years. I usually like to fish the walleye hence my user name.nananana

As usual I'm a little late in welcoming you but better late than never. You have come to the right place if you want info on kok catchin. There is even a few fella's on this site than catch those big ugly lake trout once in a while. Best thing I can suggest is if you have questions, just ask one of us. Most the time you'll get a truthful answer, but remember we are all fisherman, so it's a roll of the dice. Glad to have you board. Cheers101welcomw

Thanks, don't know how much the wife and I will be over there this summer, maybe once or twice. We use to fish the Gorge alot back in the 90's then quit going that far for the kokes. We like to make at least one trip to Anderson Ranch in Idaho for the kokes but haven't done that for several years either. I know a few of the KFF members on the site most of them aren't too bad to deal with LOL.
