I got some new beads so I had to tie up a couple just to see. If I was a fish, I'd bite them!

I found some spoon blanks I'm going to try as dodgers. I'm painting and taping those tonight.

101goodpost101Those spinners look great Dave! Is the green object above the trailing hook one of those soft glow beads? I've never used those but might have to give em a try sometime. Have you ever used them inside a hoochie?

Yes, they are the soft glow beads. I haven't used them in hootchies but I ordered some that are too large and I was thinking about putting one on my main line at the snap swivel. I bought some 6" spoon blanks that I'm going to try as a dodger so tonight is paint and tape night.

Dave, what is the correct size of soft glow bead for the trailer hook and where do you get them?
Thanks,
Don

I use the Pucci 4 x 6mm. Most all of the tackle supply places are now carrying them including Cabelas. I've found the best price at Jannsnetcraft.

Did you just guess on what those sizes actually were? Did you get the smallest?

They just got them in at Wholesale Sports here. There were 2 different sizes in the white and green colors. From what I could tell it looked like the white was brightest (glowed the natural green color like regular glow beads.) Anyway, I picked up a couple packs of the smallest (size 3) that look to be around 3 1/2 mm.
