Hey everyone, I'm new to Koke fishing, always went for trout or salmon, but I'm looking forward to entering a few derbies this year. Hope to pick up some ideas and some new friends along the way. Everyone seems to be very friendly and helpful. I live in No, Cal., in the foothills above Chico (Magalia) and near Lake Oroville. Like fishing Shasta, Almanor and Collins, and New Melones lakes.

Hey Larry - Good to have you on board. Are you fishing the Shasta Trout / Salmon Derby next weekend, May 1,2nd? I'll be there and it's a great time as well as a fundraiser for the fishery with any extra proceeds. Look me up if you make it as I usually help with the derby. I'm in a Blue / Silver 19' Boulton with Yamaha motors. Let me know what boat you are in if you go so I can recognize you on the Lake.
