After seeing the KFF gathering at Strawberry being cancelled, some have posted about having it at Causey this winter. Not living in Utah, I don't know much about the lakes, other than the obvious ones and Scofield.

My brother lives in West Haven and says that the lake has always produced small kokes (9 - 12 inches) and that is why he nor anyone he knows fishes it. But after reading Lunkerhunter2's post from earlier in August, it sounds like the fish have been growing quite a bit this year.

Is the ice fishing pretty good for kokes there? What type of lures/bait do you use to ice fish for kokes?

during ice fishing you are only going to catch the 9-12in kokes maybe a freak 14in, I use ice flies and such undera cast master. bad thing is you can catch 100 in 2-3hours but the limit is only 4 fish and there small. I fish causey often especialy threw the ice.
