Great Site! Been fishing the lakes in Western Washington since moving here in 1990. Started fishing for Kokes 2 years ago and really enjoy the challenge. I'm pretty much a novice but do OK and usually don't come home empty handed. I seem to learn something new every time out. I run a 12ft Lund with 15hp Merc, Cannon Downriggers and an Eagle Cuda 240 Fishfinder.

I pretty much fish all the lakes in Pierce County. For Kokes I typically fish Clear Lake by Eatonville, American Lake and Alder Lake.

Welcome KS.

It's great to have another WA member... I've got family in Orting and Bonney Lake, but I've never fished the lakes around there.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Started getting Cabin Fever so I hit American Lake a few times in Jan. Saw quite a few on the finder but not a lot of action. Things usually pick up mid to late Feb as water temps get into the 50 degree range. Hopefully, I will be able to post some pics after my next trip.

Nice to have another Washingtonian.. I am living in Tacoma now. I have only fished for Kokanee in American. We have had a lot of fun there. I will need to try some of the other lakes.

Welcome aboard!
