The wife and I are recently back from Alaska and this is what is staring back at us when we open the garage freezer.

This past weekend we had some couples over for a good old fashioned fish fry, complete with fries, onion rings, hush puppies, cole slaw and 2 kinds of home made tartar sauce.

We tried:
Halibut
Ling Cod
Yellow Eye

I don't know if words or even this picture can do justice to how good this was. I've eaten halibut before but this was my first time with the ling cod and yellow eye. While I sucked it all down like I hadn't eaten in a week, I believe I liked the ling cod the best for a fish and chips meal.

These 2 fish alone will put a hurt on your freezer.

One of the best trips I've ever been on. Gotta figure out how to do it again.

Nice freezer shot Dave. What I like about that is you relive the trip every time you cook up another meal! thumbsup
