got on the water at 6 am this morning. started fishing near the power tower just north of the hwy 299 bridge. first fish on at 6:20, thumbsup small 11" caught in 45' with a uv pink trout killer apex with uv dodger. second fish on at 6:35, another small 12" fish caught in 45' with a red wedding ring. weather was nice , little wind , sun hit water and no strikes for almost 3 hours. violin decided to drop down to 80' when i targeted a school at that depth. finally i got another fish on around 9:40, then second pole started bouncing and i had a double. lost one boated the other. caught my last two fish by 10:15. last three caught in 80' of water. wife didn't have her license so i was done for the day. caught one fish on a uv trout killer pink apex with rmt uv sb. one with a red wedding ring, same dodger and last three on a rmt pink hoochie with uv sb. wind came up around 8 am 300 yards south of hwy 299 bridge all the way down to the cold water curtain. i stayed away from that area. wind was dying down by 10:00. fish are alot smaller again this year but the meat has a nice pink color to it and a couple are getting eaten tonight. there were some copepods on the fish but easily cleaned off with no damage to the meat. hopefully there are some larger fish to be taken at a later date. also there were some kings taken today by a couple other boats, one was 14". http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/7743/dsc00877s.jpg http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/8311/dsc00879fub.jpg
