last week when i was at the gorge we were cleaning a female kokanee and it still had a belly full of eggs. Has anybody experienced that this time of year. Any input is appreciated.

They're new eggs for this year's spawn. That's common, especially for 4 year old fish that will spawn this September.

Ed Zachery! You shoud have been able to tell by their size if they were immature or mature eggs. If they didn't look just slightly smaller than a Pautzke's Salmon egg, they were just immature egg sack.

We noticed our fish we caught last weekend at the Gorge had eggs.

These must be early spawners- The spawning season for Kokanee sure can be spread out, I have caught red spawners throught the Ice in late December on the Gorge!
