Anyone fishing L.P. this weekend. Thinking of heading up and giving it a try. Haven't fished Kokanee for years. Nothing like kokes on light line. Any tips from the pro's would be great. Where to lanch, and type of gear that works up there Thanks Grizz

Lucky Peak is not red hot just yet. There are people catching fish though. I went up yesterday we landed 2 fish and lost 6 others. Just your standard kokanee trolling gear. We were fishing four different set ups and had bites on all of them. 28-31 ft on the downriggers.

Hey all, new to the board and new to Kokanee fishing. Went out for the first time yesterday to L.P. fished mostly from the dam upriver a ways. Caught 11 and lost or missed that many more between three guys with five lines out. Thankfully they knew what they were doing and could teach an old dog some new tricks. Can't wait to try it again. thumbsup

Two of us fished LP on Saturday AM. Caught 7 kokes (14-16") and 1 14" bow in the 4 hours before the water skiers ran us off the lake. Water was slightly off color and had a lot of seaweed and vegatative trash including small limbs and twigs. Claude
