I am about to change the line on my jig/bait rod. I have done some research and can find nothing but good things said about Fins brand line so I think that will be the way I go.

My question is does anyone use or have thoughts on the high visibility line. Fins offers a red and a yellow in Hi Vis. I know kokes are not known to be line or hook shy but it also seems that they would have their limits of what they will tolerate.

Are there any advantages to hi vis other than old guys like me can see it better?

I don't use hi-vis, but when bait fishing I hear that high-vis makes detecting bites easier and does not detract bites when a short mono section is added to the front.

I would think the red would both be easy to see, yet fade out to gray as you get further down the water column.

I use green braid myself but do find it hard to pick out against the water sometimes when I am trying to find it while long lining or when I am cast jigging. Red may be the answer.
