Is it really worth chasing any kokanee yet? If so, where, when and how?

I am pretty new to this fishery. I have fished a couple of times at Suttle last year and caught a few fish but wanting more. I have been wanting to try something closer to home as well, Green Peter specifically, but any other ideas?

I have not hear of anyone doing really well this early, but the fishing at LBC is fantastic right now so it might be good at GP if someone put some time into finding the fish.

I just drove up to Merwin (I live in Oregon), and what a beautiful lake. But I liked Yale even better. Which one has the best Kokanee?

I've fished mostly at Merwin, the fish are a little larger there, But the limit was 5 last year. At Yale the fish are a little smaller But the limit was 15 last year. They are both good lakes to fish, especially early in the year before the skiers come out!. Where do you live in Or.? thumbsup
