fun day at the berry

had a nice day at the berry started out on SC side and got a triple right off the bat ,2 kokes and 1 24" cutt . steady action for the first hour then the bite shut down for awhile. moved to strawberry side slow fishing for another hour or so then the afternoon bite started .first several bytes were cutts but at least it was action then the big boy's came out to play. with consistent action till i left at 5 pm . ended the day with 8 in the box and several long line releases . best lure was RMT 5.5 sunrise dodger and orange super squid , bahama mama, and pink super squid worked well ,green was only a good combo for cutts. i tip everything with gulp spikes , 15 to 17 feet down and long set backs were the ticket and not many fish marks on the screen .
