    Default Fishing Report, November 4.

Today November 4 we launched at Buckboard and went north. There was dense fog so the going was slow but after sunup it was a beautiful day. We kept 7 rainbows and 2 very nice sized pups to make chowder with. We probably caught a total of 16 fish. What worked for us was small jointed Rapala shad raps but after the sun got higher we changed to pop gear and worms. Water temperature was 50.5 degrees.

Sounds like a nice day. Any size to the Rainbows?

Yes it was a very nice day. I think that if there is at least a slight riffle on the water it's easier to catch fish but that day it was dead calm. The lake is also starting to turn over and in places there is moss floating on the water.

The rainbows that we kept were very nice being in the 2.5-3 pound range.

    Regards
