Opening weekend is the same as wikiup I believe but does anyone know if the campgrounds around the lake will be open then as well?

I would assume so as I doubt snow will be an issue but I don't have any idea who owns/operates the campgrounds. You may want to check the Deschutes National forest website and see what they list. Most likely it is Hoodoo Recreation.

I see that Spring campground is going to be open on 5/13 and crescent campground is open right now with limited campsites available till peak season starts at the end of the month. I am looking to go up there in a few weeks, if anyone goes up there, let me know if the fish are biting!

just moved to Oregon from texas and have lots of gear for kokes but at the moment don't have a boat. Would like to meet someone who has boat so I can pick up some kokes from crescent lake. Anyone going out there end of may that I could catch a ride would be nice. thanks.
