    Default Berry kokes 7-27

We've been in a kokanee drought for several trips this month at the Berry.
We kept hearing lots of great reports but all we could catch we're cutthroat. (Not that Catching lot's of cutts are a bad thing)

I'm happy to say that we finally ran into a few last sunday right in the middle of Soldier Creek.
Caught them on a green sling blade and a green rmt billfish squid, 42' down.
The second one is prob the biggest koke I've caught at Strawberry, We we're happy!!
Can't wait for the Gorge next week!

Beautiful fish! You put in your time and got appropriately rewarded.

Those are some awesome fish! The only kokes I can catch at Strawberry are a bunch of 2 pounders. Had the same problem as you with the cutts. I caught one at 68 feet. I need to find a color kokanee like and cutthroat hate. Nice Job!

Sure hope I can find them Sat. morning for a couple of vets. Those look like some nice fish, thanks for posting.

Worst case scenario... you and the vets catch a bunch of fat cutts! Hope you have fun!!
