Default Oregon kokanee in the fall

I just got back from Alaska and I was wondering how late in the fall fishing stays good in various lakes. I assume the higher the lake the earlier the spawn.
Since this is my first year I would appreciate any info that you could give me. I need to try out a new smoker I bought in Joseph.101duh I geuss I was a little optomistic. No matter it was a great trip. I would like to try out witting them a few more times. Maybe SOME of my electronics will work this time.
    Thanks John

The lake I fish is around the 6,000' level. I was just there a couple days ago and caught my first spawner of the season. The fishing is good most years up there through mid September.

I just got back from Green Peter and the fish are pretty good up there yet. Out of 25 I have two that have started to turn color and have lost there scales.

Some of the big bucks were 1.5 pounds and 15 to 16'' very nice fish but they are turning fast.
