Fishin Green Peter 8/25

My husband and I were at Green Peter this week. We got ten 14" kokanee. Some were fatter than others. The really fat ones (1#+) were already turning. They were really slimmy, no scales and hooked mouths. We fished at about 45 - 60 feet and used sling blades with hoochies tipped with corn. I used pink and my husband used white. The fatter fish were 60 feet. All in all it was a good day.

The meat looked good on all fish. However we did notice that the fatter fish had the really red meat and the thinner fish had lighter color meat.
