    Default Downrigger Storage

Rainy day project that I finished yesterday. Came out pretty good, now the riggers have a safe place to hang out

Nicely done vvbob. I have been thinking of a similar idea for my Scotty downriggers. It sure is a clean way to store them.

Great idea, vvBob! I just bought two Scottys and they have been flopping around in the garage. Not good. I like your idea better.

On those Scottys, is there a plate mounted on the board that you screw into?

Somebody needs to organized these type of projects. I've seen some for lure storage, rod and reel storage. Should be some kind of "how to" book.

How do you use that funny thing on the end of the orange pole to the right? Are the fish that big in your area or do you get hung up a lot and need to do some underwater trimming????

I have one on my boat, I use it any time someone is starting to out fish me. It even telescopes long enough to reach fish being caught on other boats.
