HTK,
I've always wondered what went on down there.
Great video and we all appreciate the work that's involved in putting them together.
Thanks for sharing..

Very creative SD and thanks for sharing.
Aaah..... It's finally here. I wish our lakes would get going.
Berryessa is off to a good start. Thanks for sharing.........

Great pics Robbie! That rainbow one is killer on our local lakes around here too!
Thanks for sharing an early season favorite for sure.

Those little discs impart action to your lure without the need of a dodger.
I use them when trolling fly's and grubs. Looking forward to your experience with them. Keep us posted.

Kevin,
If I'm not mistaken I believe a few of you guys came over after the Pedro derby to fish McClure.
McClure for some reason gets hit harder than say Pedro or Melones when it comes to water...
I really hope McClure finds it's form from 2007. thumbsup
I will start looking too, in a few weeks at most.

Welcome aboard. This is a great site. Looking forward to your contributions!

It's been a long time since I've seen a McClure report. Good to hear your finding the kokanee with some size to them. The Merced Irrigation District manages the water there and usually dumps a...
Just to add to Full Monte's report. California does have several lakes with those king salmon and each lake seems to have various approaches to catching them. I live near Don Pedro and the baitfish...
We launched out of Tuttletown and had lines down at 0500. We gambled on where we should fish, but decided to fish Rose Island to start. Good call because we found the fish. The radio was quiet for...
Eleven Mile, haven't fished there since 1996 while stationed at Fort Carson, but remember enough to know we caught some quality kokanee there. Brings back some faded memories thumbsup Thanks for...
Believe me, after my first trip last year, it's hard to look at kokanee the same. That's why we are headed back in less 6 weeks. You gotta check it out sometime!!!thumbsup

A week removed from Pyramid and your catching quality kokes from Berryessa. Just a tune up for the Gorge in June! thumbsup Thanks for sharing...

I started with 8lb ball shaped weights then changed over to the 10lb pancake type. Taped up fins that turned out cool! Seems to have less blow back on the downrigger cable too.

Roemer Release.
HTK,
Great looking limit's you have there. Berryessa always seems to produce nice fish. Imagine what they are going to look like in June/July! Thanks for sharing..

I had the opportunity to fish Shaver Lake this morning with Ironhead and couldn't have asked for better conditions. These were our first 2009 limit's. This lake has some nice fish in there already....
When assembling them (double snell) they line up in the same direction, but when I cinch the knot it seems the second hook always goes the opposite direction. I have come to like this set up though!...
Hitech,
Nice trout you have there. Glad to hear you had your personal best! Thanks for sharing.... thumbsup
Scott
Good stuff there Hitech and thanks for sharing. thumbsup

HTK,
Interesting information regarding Pine Flat. I'm like Superdave, I don't believe it until I see it. I really hope they catch kokanee there because it would be nice to have "another"...
Pine Flat could probably be removed as well.
