Anyone who has fished Kokanee as long as I have in Eastern Washington has most likely heard of Chapman Lake. The first fishing trip that I can remember in my life was to there. I was probably 5 years old or so and my grandfather, father, and myself were the fisherman of the day. I have fished that lake for the Silver Buggers every year for nearly 40 years... except for the last 2 years now.

fished anderson ranch on the 26 th and 27th. caught a total of 67 kokes. ford fenders and pink hoochies tipped w/ fire corn. to my suprise the fish bit better in the mid-day versus the early morning. so don't get discouraged. we used leaded line and the downrigger. leaded line out caught the downrigger 5-1. we fished in the 23-30 foot range. 5-6 colors all day.
